John Cena, the WWE star of smackdown fame, just dropped a major bombshell on his fans – he’s joined OnlyFans, the subscription-based adult content platform known for its racy pics and vids. Or so it seemed, at first glance.

Cena posted a link to the site from his Twitter account, causing a sensation among the wrestling and movie star’s dedicated following. The thirst trap of traps promised “spicy” content, and people were ready to open their wallets to support Cena’s OnlyFans debut. But not so fast…

The account is actually for his character Ricky Stanicky in the upcoming Prime Video film Ricky Stanicky. Cena stars as the titular character, a washed-up actor hired to pretend to be a made-up friend called on by three dads (Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler and Andrew Santino) to avoid their marital obligations.

So while Cena won’t be posting XXX content anytime soon, he is giving a peak into his latest big role. And from the looks of it, the movie promises a buffet of “jizz jams” and jello wrestling quarterback showdowns, so to speak. Even if Cena keeps his clothes on.

Cena seems to be in on the joke, and is having fun keeping his loyal followers guessing. He’s always been known for his playful, cheeky sense of humor. And who knows, maybe he’ll post some steamy behind-the-scenes pics and vids after all. Stranger things have happened.

In any case, the cross-promotional stunt has given Ricky Stanicky a nice publicity boost before it premieres on Prime Video in March. And fans will have to tune in to see Cena flex his comedic acting muscles in a whole new light. Through a jello lens, of course.

John Cena continues to find new, creative ways to entertain. But an OnlyFans stint? That’s a John Cena move if there ever was one – even if it was just pretend.
